The Midwest Biodiversity Institute (MBI) is a 501[c][3] nonprofit corporation dedicated to addressing important environmental and natural resource issues. We are nationally recognized for pioneering research methods that produce credible data, and since 1997 have amassed a body of research that advances the understanding of critical habitats, species and environmental management practices.

MBI continues that work today, providing analyses and advice concerning the quality and characteristics of natural resources to government agencies and the private sector.
